Volunteer

Volunteer

We are calling on all volunteers – uniformed and non-uniformed, to register and give their time and share their skills over the ESF weekend. Non-Ismaili family members are most welcome to register too.

Short shifts will be spread throughout the day so you’ll still have plenty of time to participate in the various sports and enjoy the assortment of activities and entertainment that will be on offer.

If you are interested in helping to make ESF a fun-filled weekend for all, please click here and register by Friday 10th April 2017.

Come and be part of one of the most exciting events in the Ismaili calendar!

Why Volunteer?

There is a strong tradition of serving within our community and volunteers are an essential element at all our community events. Taking some time out to volunteer will help to make the whole event fun for all that attend and will ensure that certain areas run smoothly enhancing the Jamat’s overall experience.

In addition:

  • You will have the chance to make friends with people from all over Europe.
  • Volunteering can help you develop the confidence to try out different things.
  • Volunteering enhances one’s sense of belonging and identity.

Cadet Development Team

The IVC National and Ismaili Centre Events team, in collaboration with the Cadet Development Team, would like to invite young volunteers aged 9 to 12 to come and be part of ESF 2017. Cadets will be able to perform various duties across the event including crowd control alongside a supervising adult.

Volunteering at large-scale events like the European Sports Festival will give cadets a chance to develop skills like teamwork, leadership and communication and you can have fun too! Participating will also enable you to progress through the Cadet Development Programme faster.
