ESF 2017 Opening Ceremony
Join us for a vibrant and electrifying ceremony to open the European Sports Festival 2017!
The evening will feature musical entertainment, dancing and will celebrate the cultural diversity of all our athletes from across Europe as we mark the official commencement of the Festival.
Let us transport you on a musical adventure to the East as the soulful voices of Shahid Khan and Shabnum Khan treat you to an evening of popular geets and ghazals to enrich your mind and tingle your senses.
Dodge, Dip, Dive, Duck and…..Dance! (Age 13+)
Play and party with us at our specially (and secret) themed dodgeball, with entertainment hosted by a renowned DJ. Expect manic music, crazy costumes and plenty of line rasra!
Lights, Camera, Action! (Ages 5-12)
Lights, Camera, Action – the Red Carpet awaits!
Dress to impress for the “ESF Premiere” movie night. Get your picture taken on the red carpet and enjoy an evening of movie night fun.
All’s Fair in Fun and Games (Ages 5-12)
Meet, compete and unite at the ESF Funfair! With a vast array of games, challenges and activities to get stuck into, and a host of great prizes on offer, there’s something for everyone.
Tables & Tunes (Ages 13-17)
Sports meets entertainment! Play ping pong with your friends (and make new ones) whilst bouncing along to the latest tunes from our resident DJ.
The Comedy Dub (Ages 18+)
Two of the UK’s funniest comedians will keep your abs working long after the sports are finished, so come prepared to laugh your sports socks off!
The night will also feature lip sync battles where you can watch your peers from across Europe battle it out to become the first ESF lip sync champion!
Join us for an amazing evening of box office Bollywood entertainment, with music to get your heart bearing and arms waving. Sing along to the show-stopping tunes and watch the sparks fly.
ESF 2017 Closing Ceremony
The ESF 2017 Closing Ceremony will draw the weekend’s festival to a close.
The ceremony will feature entertainment which celebrates the spirit of “One Jamat” across Europe as well as recognising all our volunteers, athletes and medal winners.
The celebrations will continue late into the evening as athletes and spectators dance, dandia and raas the night away to the sounds of our very own Ismaili band, Zamana.
