This year we are fundraising for a safe water project in Tajikistan, Central Asia’s least developed country. Here’s what you need to know about the project:

  • £5 million water & sanitation project primarily funded by the Swiss government

  • Every £1 we raise from the Walk & Run results in £10 going to the project

  • Constructing pumps & latrines for 75,000 people

  • Will reduce child mortality & empower women by maximising their time

  • 100% of funds raised at The Aga Khan Foundation Walk & Run will go directly to assist Tajik families

The total project grant is £5 million. The Aga Khan Foundation’s contribution, including the amount raised by the 2017 Aga Khan Foundation Walk & Run, will be £500,000; the rest is funded by the Swiss Government.

There are a several ways to get involved


All funds raised will go toward providing clean water and sanitation to over 75,000 people in rural Tajikistan, Central Asia’s least developed country.

10KM Run for ages 14 +
